# See a bag on the body

Shoppers see the bag on their body in the phone camera, or on a desktop viewer. Crossbody, shoulder, tote, backpack, and similar shapes are positioned in the AR scene. Bags do not auto-place the way shoes do; placement is set when the model is prepared.

## At a glance

| | |
|--|--|
| Who can do it | Someone who can upload a 3D file and place a link or iframe. There is no merchant wizard for bags. |
| You need | A 3D file, up to 30 MB. Photos of the bag are not a substitute. |
| You connect | The AR library at [dev.wearfits.com](https://dev.wearfits.com), then a link or iframe to [dev.wearfits.com/tryon](https://dev.wearfits.com/tryon). |
| The shopper sees | The bag on their body. |
| You receive | A viewer for that model. You do not receive a size recommendation. |

## What will not work

- The [2D to 3D generator](../shoe3d-generator/overview.md) accepts **shoes only**.
- The [Shopify app](../get-started/shopify.md) and the [WooCommerce shoes plugin](../woocommerce/shoes-plugin.md) digitize shoes, not bags.
- There is no bag size product. [Shoe size](../shoes/recommend-size.md) and [clothing size](../clothing/recommend-size.md) do not apply.

## Setup

1. Create a [Dashboard account](../account/index.md) if you do not already have one.
2. Upload the file in the AR library. GLB is the preferred format. A zip may contain OBJ, MTL, and textures.
3. Position the bag in the try-on editor. Shoes can auto-place; bags and backpacks need this step. The [AR user guide](../ar-tryon/user-guide.md) covers the editors.
4. Put the viewer on the product page with a link or an iframe. Parameters and `postMessage` are in the [AR SDK guide](../ar-tryon/sdk-guide.md).

A full-screen mirror on a store display uses the same viewer. That installation is arranged with WEARFITS. The product-page embed above is the self-serve path.
