# Shopify Shoes Try-On App — Storefront Integration

How to show the Try On button on your Shopify storefront. The button is visual try-on. It does not recommend a shoe size.

The day-to-day controls — onboarding, the product list, and button text — are in the [user guide](user-guide.md). This page is the one-time storefront setup.

---

## Where you work in Shopify

1. **App Home** — the WEARFITS app inside Shopify Admin. Dashboard, Try-Ons, Settings, and the onboarding wizard live here.
2. **Product page panel** — on a product in Shopify Admin you can see whether try-on is ready and turn processing on without leaving that product.
3. **Storefront button** — the Try On button and badges that shoppers see on the product page.

---

## Turn the storefront button on

The storefront button has to be enabled once per store in the theme editor. Installing the app does not turn it on by itself.

1. In Shopify Admin, go to **Online Store → Themes**.
2. Click **Customize** on your active theme.
3. In the left sidebar, click the **App embeds** icon (puzzle piece).
4. Locate **WEARFITS AR Try-On** and toggle it on.
5. Click **Save**.

The onboarding wizard also walks you through this step.

## When shoppers see Try On

Shoes and apparel are separate switches in **Settings**.

For **shoes**, the button shows when all of the following are true:

- the Shoes switch is on
- try-on is enabled for that product
- a shoe model is ready

For **apparel**, the button shows when all of the following are true:

- the Apparel switch is on (only stores with Apparel access see it)
- try-on is enabled for that product
- an apparel try-on is available for that product

Badges follow the same rules. Turning shoes off hides only shoe buttons and badges. Turning apparel off does the opposite.

On a phone, Try On opens the camera AR viewer. On desktop, it opens a QR code that the shopper scans with their phone.

Button text, style, and position are set in **Settings**. See the [user guide](user-guide.md).
