WEARFITS Shoes Tryon

WordPress / WooCommerce plugin that adds a Virtual Try-On button for shoe products.

Install and API key

  1. Install and activate WEARFITS Shoes Tryon.
  2. WooCommerce → WEARFITS Try-On → paste the API key from dash.wearfits.com.
  3. Optional: define( 'WEARFITS_SHOES_TRYON_API_KEY', '…' ); in wp-config.php.

The settings screen never echoes a saved key back into the page.

Digitize via POST /api/v1/shoe-3d

On Product Data → WEARFITS Try-On, Digitize with WEARFITS:

  1. The plugin sends public gallery image URLs to https://api.wearfits.com/api/v1/shoe-3d.
  2. It polls GET /api/v1/jobs/{jobId} until the job completes.
  3. The returned viewer URL is stored on the product.

No customer data (names, emails, orders) is sent. Nothing is sent until a merchant clicks Digitize.

You can skip the API entirely and paste a try-on URL per product. The storefront button is the same.

Eligibility

By default, digitization is offered when the product category slug or name contains shoe or footwear, or the equivalent in Polish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, or Czech.

Override with the wearfits_shoes_tryon_is_eligible_product filter.

Storefront

  • Desktop: QR modal (focus trap, Esc to close)
  • Mobile: AR viewer (tablets, including iPad, are treated as mobile)

Button markup can be replaced with wearfits_shoes_tryon_button_html (output is sanitized).

Privacy

Stored in WordPress: the API key option (unless provided as a PHP constant) and per-product meta for the viewer URL, enabled flag, and job state. The plugin does not set cookies and does not collect analytics.
